1. The best Policy for the Tribes to Pursue: Resistance
~ The reason that resistance would be the best option for the Indians economically is because they could keep all their money in their economy without having to hand it over to the white people when they are in control. They wouldn't have to share all their resources as well and they could thrive independently.
~The social reason it would be better is that they would be able to preserve their culture for future generations. Their traditions would not be destroyed and even if they had to go to war with the English they would at least go down fighting with their pride.
~The Political reason is that they could be recognized as their won country and not a part of the English society. They would be free to be independent and form their own foundation of government for themselves.
2. The worst Policy for the Tribes to Pursue: Assimilation
~If the Indians chose Assimilation they would have to pay taxes and share all their land with the English, giving up all their precious hunting land and other resources
~The Social reason the Indians should not pick Assimilation is that their entire culture would become "Americanized" and would virtually become nothing. Future generations would know nothing about their culture.
~Politically if the Indians chose Assimilation they would be completely controlled by the English people.. They would have to abide by all of the American laws and practices.
